JRAFFSHOOTS

What's good y'all? My name is Jeremiah Rafferty aka JRAFFSHOOTS, and I'm a freelance photographer/videographer. I've been shooting well over 10 years, capturing various subjects but by far, photographing people has been my favorite. I describe my style as creative portraiture because although I capture people in their natural essence, I love to do so in a unique way. My goal is to continue to push the limits of my creative portraiture and lead overall creative direction for artists, musicians, editorials, and advertisers.

Lauren Chambers

For me, being a photographer is the natural derivative of being an observer. I am relating to and understanding the world around me, which allows me to be present and capture the one moment that makes a good photograph. Having always had a special connection with animals, I now have an opportunity to give them a voice before it’s too late. My goal is to capture what I see in their eyes, then interpret that into clear and compelling portraits that speak straight to the viewer. This series entitled “Obsolescence” is a black and white photographic narrative that brings awareness to earth’s incredible creatures, many of whom may likely become extinct within my lifetime. “Obsolescence” focuses on an intimate conversation between the animal and the viewer, enabling them to identify with and recognize the plight of each animal.

Tanner Rowan

Tanner Rowan is a multi-modal artist and photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. As a graduate of Georgia State University’s Ernest G Welch School of Art & Design with a Bachelors in Studio Art in fall of 2018, his introduction to photography began summer of 2014 when he picked up a film camera. He was drawn to the medium of film and shooting on an SLR because it allowed him to learn the basics of photo composition while providing the opportunity to see an idea evolve through each stage of the process from the moment of conception to a fully developed image. Soon thereafter into the start of his collegiate experience, he acquired a DSLR to further his portfolio with a focus on live show photography, architectural landscapes, and apparel/product shoots. Upon graduating in 2018, he created his first photo zine titled “The Day Starts When It Gets Dark,” a compilation of nightly excursions and after-hours escapades. Since then, he’s shifted creative focuses primarily towards design related photography for future projects.
